Returns Policy
- Request a Return or Exchange: To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us via email.
- Timeline: Returns MUST be initiated within 7 days of receipt of order (24 hours for books). Requests made after this period are not eligible.
- Condition of Goods: Returned items due to customer error must be unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
- Verification: IT products (computers, laptops, printers) must be inspected and verified to be in resalable condition before refunds are approved. Items with consumables (toners/ink) inserted are not eligible unless confirmed faulty by our warranty centre.
- Responsibility: Customers are responsible for the goods until we receive them. We recommend using an insured courier service or dropping off returns at our Yaounde office.
- Costs: The cost of returning items is the customer's responsibility.
- Exchanges: Credit notes or exchanges will be issued once per order.
Refunds Policy
Refunds are processed within 48 working hours if you are dissatisfied with your purchase due to:
1. Incorrect, Damaged, or Not as Described Products
- Eligible for a full refund, including original shipping costs.
- Must be returned within 7 days (24 hours for books) in the same condition received.
2. Product Did Not Arrive
- Eligible for a full refund, including shipping, if undelivered within 30 days of the estimated delivery date.
- If courier tracking confirms delivery, refunds are void.
- If returned due to an incomplete/incorrect address, only the product price will be refunded.
3. Other Terms
- No refunds for damage caused during shipping (customers must file claims with the courier).
- Transaction fees (such as mobile money or card fees) will be deducted from refunds.
- Refunds are only processed after full payment has cleared.
- Customers must respond to delivery communications; failure to do so may result in delivery to the nearest ZUWAA collection point.
Shipping & Delivery (Domestic – Cameroon)
- Standard Shipping Fees: A flat rate applies within major cities (e.g., Yaoundé, Douala). Delivery costs for regional/hard-to-reach areas will be quoted at checkout or by our customer service team.
- Delivery Times: Orders are typically processed within 72 hours after payment confirmation. Delivery may take up to 5 working days nationwide.
- Working Hours: Deliveries are made Monday through Friday (8:30 am–5:30 pm) and Saturday mornings; no deliveries are made on Sundays or public holidays.
- Responsibility: Customers must provide accurate delivery addresses and contact numbers that are reachable. ZUWAA is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect addresses, adverse weather, or courier restrictions.
- Regional Considerations: Remote areas may require up to 7 days for delivery and may attract additional fees. Customers will be informed in advance.
International Shipping
- Courier Partners: ZUWAA partners with DHL Express and other carriers for international orders.
- Customs & Duties: International customers are responsible for paying customs duties, VAT, and import taxes as determined by the authorities in their country of origin.
- Delivery Estimates: DHL typically delivers within 3–7 business days to most destinations.
- Insurance: International shipments are insured for the order value by default.
Express Delivery (Yaounde & Douala Metropolitan Areas)
- Service: Same-day delivery for orders placed before 12 noon (Monday–Saturday). Orders received after this time will be delivered the next working day.
- Fee: Express delivery is available at a flat rate of 5,000 XAF.
- Limitations: Not available for bulk or oversized orders. Customers must provide precise delivery addresses and reliable contact details.
Force Majeure
Delivery timelines are estimates. ZUWAA is not liable for delays caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, customs delays, or social unrest. Customers will be updated promptly in such cases.
